From choosing a wallcovering to preparing the surface, here are practical answers to help you plan your project with confidence.
What should I send for a wallpaper installation estimate?
Start with your name, phone number and email in our free estimate form. We save your contact before asking for project details. An address, wall photos, measurements and a wallpaper product link help us understand the work, but you can finish the request without completing every detail.
Can you help if I have not chosen wallpaper yet?
Yes. Our Draper showroom lets you compare materials, patterns and textures in person. Browse the 100-wallpaper library preview for inspiration, or request access to the full private library when you are still choosing.
Do I need to buy wallpaper before contacting you?
No. Tell us whether you already purchased it, selected a product but have not purchased it, or need help choosing. Those are different stages, and we can discuss the next step for your project.
Can wallpaper be installed over a textured wall?
The surface and the chosen wallcovering need to be assessed together. Texture, uneven absorption, old adhesive or damaged drywall may need attention before installation. Our wall preparation and primer service plans the substrate work needed for your material.
Do you remove existing wallpaper?
Yes. We assess the existing paper and adhesive, choose a removal approach, then review the wall beneath it. Any additional repairs or preparation can be discussed once the surface is visible. Learn about wallpaper removal.
How do I measure my walls and estimate the number of rolls?
Measure the full width and height of each wall separately. Our wallpaper calculator uses your roll width, roll length, pattern repeat and match type to make a preliminary estimate. Confirm the material specification and final quantity with the installation team before ordering.
Can someone visit to measure the project?
You can request a free measurement visit in the estimate form. Share the project address and preferred availability. These are requested times, not a confirmed appointment; the team will contact you to coordinate the visit.
How long does wallpaper installation take?
Timing depends on the number and size of walls, the material, pattern layout, wall condition and any preparation or drying time. Share your project details so we can discuss a realistic schedule. We do not promise a fixed installation time before reviewing the work.
Do you work on residential and commercial projects?
Yes. Broccato works with homeowners, designers and commercial interiors. Services include wallpaper installation, large-scale murals, wall preparation and removal. Explore our installation services and see recent project videos.
Does wallpaper varnish make every wallpaper washable?
No. The coating must be compatible with the paper, ink and texture. An appropriate finish may make wipe-downs easier, but it can change sheen or appearance and does not make every paper waterproof. We discuss the specific product and a discreet test before proceeding. Read about wallpaper protection.
