Planning wallpaper installation in Salt Lake City, Park City or Utah Valley? Start with three things: photos of the walls, the product you are considering and the date you would like the room ready. You do not need to have every answer before requesting an estimate.
Choose the material before finalizing the installation plan
A printed nonwoven, a natural grasscloth and a wall mural need different layout decisions. Send the brand, product name, colorway and product link when you have them. The roll label and manufacturer’s instructions help us review the backing, pattern match and installation requirements.
If you are still choosing, visit our wallpaper showroom in Draper to compare samples. Look at them in the room’s daylight and evening lighting before ordering. A small swatch helps with color and texture; the full pattern image helps you judge scale.
What changes the scope of an estimate?
- Wall condition: existing wallpaper, texture, damaged drywall and peeling paint can add preparation or removal work.
- Room layout: ceiling height, stairwells, built-ins, windows and tight corners affect access and pattern placement.
- Material and pattern: delicate surfaces, large repeats and numbered mural panels require a product-specific plan.
- Project access: tell us whether the home is occupied, under construction or managed by someone else, and who will let the crew in.
Two rooms with the same square footage may need different amounts of work. Our installation, removal and wall preparation services can be discussed together so you know what is included before scheduling.
Before you buy: confirm how much wallpaper to order
Measure the width and height of each wall separately and keep all measurements in one unit system. Include the product’s roll width, roll length, repeat and match type. Wall area alone does not account for the full-height strips or pattern alignment an installation needs.
Use our wallpaper roll calculator for a preliminary estimate, then ask us to review the quantity before you purchase. Read the wallpaper measuring guide if you are unsure which details to collect. Murals, unusual wall shapes and specialty materials may need a separate layout.
Coordinate preparation with the other work in the room
Share the status of painting, trim, cabinetry and other trades. We can discuss which work should be completed before wallpaper installation, along with access to the walls and protection for finished surfaces. Do not book the final installation around a guessed drying time: the selected preparation products and the wall condition determine the next step.
Our wall preparation guide explains what to look for before the crew arrives. If old paper needs to come down, include a photo of its surface and any loose edges with your request.

Broccato serves Salt Lake City, Park City and communities across the Wasatch Front. Browse our Utah service areas, or send the project’s city and ZIP code if it is outside the listed areas. We review travel and access as part of the project rather than assuming every location has the same schedule.
Ready to plan your room?
Request a free wallpaper installation estimate with the information you already have. Tell us whether you need installation, help choosing wallpaper, or both, and mention removal if there is an existing wallcovering. If you do not have measurements yet, let us know so we can discuss the next step.
